Swim around Barbados 1

DescriptionJohn Mike Peterkin and Peter GIbbs attempted to swim around Barbados non-stop In August 2008, to raise money for several local children's charities, under the auspices of the Canadian Womens' Club. Photos taken from Horizon Helicopters' Robinson 44 with the brother of one of the swimmers at the controls. The attempt had to be abandoned that evening as heavy swells on the East Coast wore the swimmers out, and a night of swimming in rough north swells would just have been too dangerous.
