DescriptionThe home of horse racing (and the original home of polo) in Barbados. In the bottom left of the photo can be seen historic buildings such as the old regimental barracks which are now the home of the Barbados Defence Force, and the old Officers Club with clock tower which now houses the Savannah Club and the offices of the Barbados Legion. At bottom center you can see the old fort walls, beneath which was the powder magazine, as well as the old road that used to be public access to the Drill Hall beach. Contact photographer |
